Secure Remote File Access Without VPNs or Cloud Migration

Overall: We were looking for a way to share our our files out to remote users without VPN overhead, expense. I looked at literally every file sharing company, application out there; box, dropbox, Citrix, tresorit, etc. They all were either way too expensive, didnt offer drive mapping, or needed a desktop sync application. Myworkdrive is a game changer for our sales and support staff. Best product in years.
Pros: The ease of use for end users. Removal of VPN headache. Tons of security and compliance features. Cost. Network drive map.
Cons: The software is in my opinion perfect. The setup on server side does require some technical skill sets that some may not have, however, their support team will walk you through it. Not meant for large video files.

Overall: Very little downtime, if ever. Technical support and customer service are the best, bar none, always attentive and helpful whenever I submit a ticket.
Pros: Rock solid uptime and phenomenal support.
Cons: None, the product works exactly as intended.

Overall: Provides a secure, easy to use and reliable way for users to connect to internal shares without VPN or Remote Desktop. Two factor authentication and constant updates give us confidence.
Pros: Version 4 added direct integration into Word, Excel and PowerPoint for iOS, plus seamless Duo 2FA in Office apps users can truly work anywhere.
Cons: None noted.

Overall: MyWorkDrive has been a great partner for over 3 years, simplifying management and file sharing across all our divisions.
Pros: Easy to deploy, maintain and upgrade; enhanced security via Duo keeps our data well protected.
Cons: Browser graphics have room for improvement.

Overall: Email struggles with large attachments. MyWorkDrive lets us share them easily and even back up important files so accidental deletions aren't a disaster.
Pros: Cloud storage with restricted access, Office 365 editing, two factor authentication, all in one collaboration tool.
Cons: None, everything works fine.

Overall: Makes managing file access for BYOD effortless.
Pros: Only product that met our requirements for remote access, security and cost; unlimited user licensing and on site storage save money.
Cons: Needed to contact support to keep the same URL when moving from trial to paid.

Overall: Solved remote file access issues, teachers no longer need USBs; two step authentication is great for GDPR.
Pros: Ridiculously easy remote access with perfect O365 integration, remote editing without downloads. Ideal for teachers and pupils.
Cons: iPad app isn't as integrated yet, but improvements are on the roadmap.

Overall: Solved manual sync and VPN speed issues, letting remote users map a local drive directly to shares.
Pros: Seamless drive mapping without Office 365; critical for our environment.
Cons: Remote drive map setup was tricky, but support helped us through.

Overall: After testing many solutions, MyWorkDrive met all expectations and more; rock solid stability with no outages.
Pros: Straight forward install, intuitive UI, bulletproof operation, lightning fast support when increasing licenses.
Cons: None so far.

Overall: Helped us greatly during the pandemic by giving faculty and staff remote file access.
Pros: Very similar look and feel to SharePoint; intuitive upload/download of folders and files.
Cons: Initially thought there was no two factor option, but Duo and SAML are actually supported.

Pros: It's ease of access and low downtimes. We have users of various backgrounds and none of them have problems using the system.
Cons: The inability to search for a file. We have very large network files, and not being able to search makes things much more difficult.

Overall: A more secure way to access work files anywhere and anytime.
Pros: It's accessible anywhere and anytime. It also ties in with our file server so we always know the original source and not a copy somewhere in the cloud.
Cons: We have a very large data set, in the multi terabytes. Due to its size, we needed to implement a more robust search feature (with some added cost) because native Windows tools had reached their limits.

Overall: I had looked for a product like this for quite some time. Something lightweight, not bloated but provide easy web/app access to SMB shares and beyond. There are many products out there but offered functionalities we did not need and also with a higher price tag. It was easy to integrate it into our system using existing infrastructure.
Pros: The MWD solution is a lightweight application to install, easy to use and integrates with our Active Directory so need for users to have another set of credentials. The options to map multiple types of file shares for users to interact with in a single interface is great. A key is also the 2FA option to integrate with our existing DUO platform. I would also say that the support I received, especially during the initial setup was great - very responsive.
Cons: Not really a con but I wouldn't mind if the web interface could be a bit more customized but this is simply a design option and nothing is limited for usability.

Overall: Simple to deploy and does the job well.

Cons: Mac client could be improved but understandably that cant always be helped with apples integration attitude.

Overall: Great support when having issues with licensing and migrating to a new on premise server.
Pros: Ease of setup and deployment. We started this when our firewall ran out of licenses to have all users be able to connect from home during Covid. Within the week all users were able to connect securely and quickly.
Cons: Setup on older servers needed tweaking but all in all got it installed for 3 of 4 clients quickly.

Pros: Simple but incredibly powerful! MyWorkDrive resolves a huge problem for VisionSpring. We're a not-for-profit and have a very small IT team, but we have many small offices around the world and we all travel a lot, so we needed an effective way to share files. I was also give the directive to make the company function as if we were in one location. We tried OneDrive, OneDrive for Business, Sharepoint, DropBox, Box, etc., but nothing gave us the functionality we needed for filesharing. That is to say, our team is not very technical so we needed something to seamlessly work with Windows, with little and preferably no training. MyWorkDrive gave us exactly what we needed!
Cons: There's nothing I don't like, but I would like a bit more integration with mobile devices. The mobile app is great, the performance is amazing, but what I'd like to be able to do is have MyWorkDrive be a location to place docs from emails, and photos from gallery.

Overall: Great solution to a problem. MyWorkDrive is now a business critical application.
Pros: The mobile client is helpful when offsite and easy to use.
Cons: The configuration does not give you a lot of options.

Overall: Very good.
Pros: Fast file browsing, Very solution oriented, good product, good support.
Cons: When using the MS office online integration, it slowdown/delay.
